System Options - Hardware Devices

This screen is where the hardware components are enabled in CSM.

Screen Resolution – Select the desired screen resolution for the program to function in. 800 x 600 is the legacy default. Newer systems it is recommended to use 1024 x 768. The menu layout is different depending on the resolution. If the menu was designed for 800 x 600 it will need to be modified to look correctly on the higher resolution. 1920 x 1080 is the resolution for a Surface Pro 1/2 and Dell Venue tablet PC's.  Auto will attempt to detect the best fit for the screen, and is the proper resolution for the Surface Pro 3/4 tablet PC's.

Tablet PC – Select this button to automatically fill out the default settings when using a Surface Pro 1/2 or Dell Venue tablet PC for the register.

Top / Side Border – Used to adjust the borders around the screen if the software appears to stretch beyond the visible edge of the monitor. If the edges are cut off on the desired screen resolution increase the numbers.

Desc – Adjust the number of characters show on the register tab for the description field. Increase the number to decrease the un-used space on the right side of the register lines.

Font Reg / Font Q – Adjust the font size used for the lines on the register tab and queue tab.

Optimize Register for Tablet PC – Maximizes the button size and positions for the button bar at the bottom of the register. Commonly used buttons are larger. This is used for all tablet PC's.

Default Drawer – Select the Cash Drawer from the drop-down list to be automatically selected at the beginning of a Shift.

Default Display – Select the Customer Display from the drop-down list to be automatically selected at the beginning of a Shift.

Enable WebBeams – Enable this if you have purchased WebBeams’ services. Please contact our Sales department if you have any questions regarding this.
