System Options - Accounting Links

CSM offers an export to QuickBooks tool. You will need to create Accounting Links to be imported as your Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks. If you already have the Chart of Accounts created in QuickBooks, you will need to create them to match exactly in CSM. See section Maintenance | Accounting Links for more information. After the accounts have been created, they will need to be mapped on this screen.





Summary Cash Posting – This option will perform CSM side calculations, on the QB export, to generate the checking account deposit to match your bank statement exactly.  By enabling this option you are giving up having proper two-sided journal entries for every part of the export.  Instead you will only have a one-sided transaction for paid out, returns, etc and the checking account deposit will be adjusted by these amounts as part of the export process.
