Maintenance | Promotions

This is where promotion offerings are created. Promotions are tracked through Customer accounts in Customer Maintenance. Promotional offerings can be created to allow customers a discounted price or a free item after accruing the required purchases. Promotions can be created based on specific items or groups of items (Classes). A coupon can be assigned to a promotion to inform your customer of the offering. Promotions can also be set to start and end on specified dates.



Promo ID – This is the ID of the promotion.

Description – This is the Description of the promotion.

Promo Info – This is the details of the promotion. It will fill in as the parameters are entered.

Buy this many – Enter how many of the item or class required for purchase.

Get this many free – Enter in how many of the item or class to be awarded.

Get this many points – Enter in how many points to be awarded.

Get this discount – Select a discount to be awarded.

Print this coupon – Select a coupon to be awarded.

Purchase By – Enter in the date items must be purchased by to apply to the promotion.

Redeem By – Enter in the date rewards must be used by.

Active for Promotions – Select this to enable the promotion.

Active for Redemption – Select this to enable the promotion to be redeemed.

Redeem Automatically – Select this for the reward to be automatically applied at the time of purchase.


Items for Purchase:


Available Items – This is a list of the Inventory items. Use the << Add or Remove >> buttons to attach and detach items available for purchase with the promotion.

Selected Items – This is a list of the items attached to the promotion.


Classes for Purchase:



Available Classes – This is a list of Item Classes. Use the << Add or Remove >> buttons to attach and detach Classes available for purchase with the promotion.

Selected Classes – This is a list of Classes attached to the promotion.


Items to Redeem:



Available Items – This is a list of the Inventory items. Use the << Add or Remove >> buttons to attach and detach items available for purchase with the promotion.

Selected Items – This is a list of the items attached to the promotion.


Classes to Redeem:



Available Classes – This is a list of Item Classes. Use the << Add or Remove >> buttons to attach and detach Classes available for purchase with the promotion.

Selected Classes – This is a list of Classes attached to the promotion.
