Inventory Printers

CSM offers multiple printing options. This includes receipt, order ticket and Kitchen Module options. There are options for a single printer or for multiple printers. When using Order Tickets or the Kitchen Module (optional) you have the ability to select one or more printers or screens to send the item to. You also have the ability to prevent the item from printing on the customer’s receipt.

Print to Default Printer - By default the item will only print to your default receipt printer if Order Tickets are turned on.

Print to Selected Printers - When selected this item will not print to an Order Ticket on the printer(s) listed.

Do not print this item on a Receipt - When selected this item will no longer print on the customer’s receipt.

Do not print this item on a Order Ticket - When selected this item will no longer print on the order tickets.  

Print In Red (if available) - This legacy feature will allow the item to print on the receipt in red. This requires a special printer that uses a ribbon. All printers that ship with CSM packages are Thermal Receipt printers and do not allow the use of this feature.

Printer Maintenance - Create, edit or delete printer Available Printers from the Printer Maintenance screen.

Change Printer - Allows choosing printers to be assigned to the currently selected inventory item.

Assign Printer - Allows bulk assignment of printers by selecting the printer and choosing which items should print to it.

Change Displays - Allows choosing displays to be assigned to the currently selected inventory item.

 
To assign Printer or Display to an Item

• Select Change Printers or Change Displays.
  
• Use the << ADD or Remove >> buttons to add or remove items that should print on the printer.
  
• Select Save
  

NOTE: To print to assigned printers edit the inventory item ans select  Print to Selected Printers.



Assign Printer (Bulk Assignment) 

The fastest way to assign which items will print to any printer is to use the Assign Printer screen.




Locate Printer - Select a printer by description from this list and view or edit the items assigned to print on it.

Printer - Select a printer by ID from this list and view or edit the items assigned to print on it.

Only Show - Filter the list of Selected / Available items by class using this list.

Selected Items for Printer - These are the items assigned to print to the printer.

Available Items - These are the available items that can be assigned to print on the printer.



To assign multiple items to Printers

• Select Assign Printers.
  
• Select the Printer from the Locate Printer or Printer list.
• Select EDIT.
• Use the << ADD or Remove >> buttons to add or remove items that should print on the printer.
  
• Select Save.
