Overview: This screen is a designed to be a communication center for the staff. This is a user specific screen that shows schedules, internal email, daily specials, tasks and special messages.
Employee Center Introduction
To open this screen, select the Envelope icon on the bottom of the Register tab. Enter in your Login ID and Password.
My Calendar – This shows the schedule assigned to the user. Schedules are created in Employee Maintenance. See section Employee | Employee Maintenance | Schedule for more information on creating schedules.
Message of the Day – This shows any messages noted by users. Double click on field to enter notes.
My Tasks – This shows any Tasks assigned to the user. Tasks are created and assigned in Employee Maintenance. See section Employee Maintenance | Tasks
My Employee Mail – This is an internal email system. See section Employee Mail below for more information.
Store Specials and Upsells – This shows any upsell promotions created in the program. See section Maintenance | Upsell for more information.
This feature allows internal email communication for all employees with a CSM log in and password. Employees can create, read and print emails in this screen.
Send Message – Select the Send Message button to create a new email.
Print Message – Highlight an email and select the Print Message button to print a copy of the email.
NOTE: You will need to have a report printer installed to print.
Delete Message – Highlight an email and select the Delete Message button to permanently remove an email from your Employee Mail account.
Forward Message – Highlight an email and select the Forward Message button to forward an existing email to another account.
Save Message – Highlight an email and select the Save Message button to store the email in the Saved Messages tab.
Close – Select the Close button to exit the Employee Mail screen and return to the Employee Center screen.
My Messages tab – This tab allows you to view, edit and print emails using the Send, Print, Delete, Forward and Save Message buttons.
Sent Message tab – This screen allows you to view all of the emails you have sent.
Save Messages tab – This screen allows you to view all of the emails you have stored using the Save Message option.
Groups tab – This screen allows you to create and store groups of employees to send emails to.
Creating an email
NOTE: Hold the CTRL key down to select multiple names .
- Select the My Employee Mail tab.
- Select Send Message.
- Enter a Subject.
- Enter the email message in the Message Text field.
- Add Recipient – Select the Add Recipient button and choose the employee(s) to send the email to.
NOTE: Use the Select Group drop-down list to send the email to a specific group created in the Groups tab.
NOTE: Select the Cancel button to exit the message screen without saving the message.
- Select Send Message.
Groups Tab Introduction
Group ID – The Group ID name is the ID of a specific group. ID names must be unique.
Group Description – The Group Description is the name given to a specific Group ID.
Shared Group – Select Shared Group for a group name you would like to share with other employees.
Personal Group – Select Personal Group for a group name you would not like to share with other employees.
Selected Names – The Selected Names screen shows the list of employees included in the specified group.
Available Names – The Available Names screen shows the list of employees available to be included in a group.
New Group – Select the New Group button to create a new email group.
Creating an Employee Mail Group
NOTE: Use the Remove >> button to remove an Employee from the Group.
- Select the Groups tab.
- Select New Group.
- Enter a Group ID.
- Enter a Group Description.
- Highlight an Employee name and select the << Add button to attach the Employee to the Group.
- Select Save Group to store the Group.
